Advisory Team

We are a church in re-development.  That means we are re-assessing every aspect of the church from the ground up!  It also means that we have pushed "pause" on the normal leadership structure and are training and equipping future leaders. The advisory team works with the Senior Pastor and the CMA District leadership.

Myron has attended RAC since 1985.  He has served in various positions including Sunday School Teacher, Christian Education Chairman, Elder and Governing Board Chairman. He has been married to Lisa since 1981. They have 2 children:  Caitlyn & Grace. He received Jesus as his Savior as a young boy in summer camp. He was further nurtured in his walk with the Lord as he grew up attending a small church in Southern Oregon. Though he had some ups and downs, he continued to grow in his understanding of and relationship with the Savior through 6 years in the Navy and a career in Nuclear Power.  Though retired from work, he continues to learn and grow in Christ. Myron enjoys old movies where the hero exhibits integrity and courage. He was born on the island of Ponape, in Micronesia. His Grandfather was a pastor in various Free Methodist churches throughout Oregon.  When he was 4 years old, he and Grandma came to live with them after they retired.  Each of these two had a profound effect on Myron and his Spiritual walk.

Gwen Rienshoover, Advisory Team

Gwen is currently a member of the Richland Alliance Advisory Team, the co-Treasurer, and the acting lead of the Deaconess ministry, which includes Hospitality, women’s ministries, and other support functions. Gwen and her family have attended Richland Alliance since 2006. Gwen has been married to her husband Kerry since 1987 where they were married on a riverboat cruising the Ohio river. They have two daughters, Kara who lives in Scottsdale, AZ, and Kayley along with her husband, Matthew, who live locally and are both actively involved at Richland Alliance. Gwen loves to read and usually has her Kindle close by. She also loves her pets (2 large dogs and 2 black cats) and enjoys camping with friends and family. Since her retirement last year, she has focused on learning more about the health benefits of essential oils and herbal remedies and enjoys making various products for others with her new knowledge. She received Jesus as her Savior when she was 30 years old after developing a personal relationship with a strong Christian family. They invited her to a revival at their Independent Baptist church and Jesus came into her life. Ever since, no matter where she has lived, she has been a committed church attendee striving to grow and learn in her personal walk with the Lord. The influence of the Jones family who led her to the Lord has been the most significant spiritual influence in her life. Without them she may not have ever come to know Christ as her Savior. In the many years since that turning point, she has been helped to grow spiritually by many individuals, too numerous to name.
